The Forgotten- Green Day

End of an era

It's safe to say there will be tears in the cinema tomorrow night (majority of them from me)
A controversial film choice which may not be to everyones taste, this film is a personal favourite. Me and my best friend will be eager at 0.10 am tomorrow to see the film!
Ever since Stephanie Meyer wrote these books, I was hooked. Then when Catherine Hardwick direcred the film adaptation I loved it even more.
It's going to be an end of the era for the Twilight Saga (unless you keep watching the DVD's non stop!) I also urge you to check out the official soundtrack featuring Green Day, Ellie Goulding, Nikki Read, James Vincent McMorrow, Christina Perry and other amazing artists (which i've been annoying everyone in my flat with over the past week!)

Snow White and The Huntsman

Can't believe it's taken me this long to write on my blog again! But I've promised myself i'm going to stick with it. This film surprisingly is attractive to me as i'm not normally a major action film lover, and i know it will sound conventional, but i do like Kristen Stewart and I'm actually quite excited to hear her British accent!

The Hunger Games!

Now i know i'm a bit behind with the hype of The Hunger Games, and I have been meaning to see it, but with exams and interviews it was decided that it would be a treat at the end of the week after finishing my exams. Living up to it's expectations this film was absolutely vivid! Without a shadow of a doubt this will be one of my favourite films of the year. I love seeing a female protagonist in a film, something I instantly identify with.

The film centres around a 'post apocalyptic' future in 12 districts, 16 year old Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) from district 12 volunteers for the local televised event 'Hunger Games' in which 1 boy and 1 girl are chosen from the 12 districts, and must fight until there is 1 victor. Katniss volunteered in place of her younger sister Prim, Katniss and Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) another boy from her district are chosen to fight to the death.

I would seriously advise anyone to watch this film as it is amazingly directed!

American Pie

This is a must see! American Pie sequels have never failed to make me laugh, especially when you need a bit of therapeutic laughter! If you haven't seen American Pie I would highly recommend these films, or if your just up for seeing the gang again in their ten year reunion of leaving East Great Falls you know you'll leave the cinema smiling!

Who can keep a secret?

I was wondering how long it would take me to start a post about Pretty Little Liars, apparently not that long! This programme is my addiction, so i'll try not make it all about PLL. A programme aired by ABC Family in 2010, four girls (Emily,Spencer,Hannah and Aria) are reunited a year after the disappearance of their friend Alison, by a mysterious 'A'. I've managed to get a few friends hooked on this programme with our A theories, even my dad! I would definitely recommend watching this programme guys, but be careful once you watch the pilot, I guarantee you'll be hooked!
